Libre Tea Glass Review

I was thrilled beyond belief when I got the opportunity to review a Libre Tea Glass size Large.  I love hot tea.  I however, refuse to use tea bags.  I love loose leaf tea.  I have a little tea ball that I can put into a  small teapot to brew up a pot, but it gets cold quickly.  Libre Tea Glasses and mugs help keep your tea warm.  They have a dual wall system of glass interior and poly exterior.  The filter is stainless steel.  It is also BPA free.

These are avaiable in three sizes.  The orginal(9 oz), the large(14 oz) and the mug(10 oz).  You can watch the video below or see my series of photos on how to use your libre tea glass/mug.  You can also go here on their site which has a nice how to page.

I should share a bit about why I love to drink tea.  While I was growing up I would go over to my grandparents and drink hot tea with my grandmum while my siblings would drink iced tea with my dad and grandpa.  I have always loved a  good hot tea due to this.  My grandmum was a WWII war bride from England but is Irish.  She spoiled me on good teas and now I can't stand just using a regular black tea teabag.

the box.  Ok I know it's just a box, but I thought it was pretty!

box and contents.  Love that it comes with an extra seal!

Blogger twisted the photo, but you can still see the lid and the strainer.

put my loose leaf tea in.  This was some Passonfruit Berry that was wonderful!

Add in the boiling water.

Loved watching the tea take color and the leaves float.

look at those leaves in the boiling water. . . yum

I put the strainer on, but not the lid yet, still too steamy.

You can see here how the strainer will keep the leaves down and the yummy goodness called tea where you can drink it.

Tada!

Learn more about how to use your wonderful new tea glass by watching this video!  How awesome is that!

  12. I have always only had tea from a teabag, but my mom is from England and I remember tea pots and tea cozies and I am sure the tea was made from the leaves not being in a bag. I am not that crazy about tea, but this sounds great. In fact, I wouldn't know where to buy tea leaves. Now you got me thinking.
Looks like a great product, quite innovative. Thanks for sharing.

  22. Video was great, though the end sounded like someone peeing!! I really appreciate that the inner is glass so to not leach toxins into the drink.
