Enjoy Life Crunchy Cookie Review

As you may have noticed from my Plentils review, chocolate granola and chocolate chips review, and now this review, I LOVE Enjoy Life Foods!!!  Yum yum yum.  This time they have been super awesome and sent me four boxes of their crunchy cookies to review.  I got the chocolate chip, double chocolate, vanilla honey graham, and sugar crisp.

I am not going to go on again about how Enjoy Life got started, but I do want you to know that I cover it in detail in my first post and you might want to read the next paragraph just to be safe.  Sorry I know, but I really think they're awesome!

Enjoy Life began in 2001.  All Enjoy Life products are free of the top 8 allergens and made in a dedicated gluten and nut free facility. In addition to the top 8 allergens most of their products are also free of potatoes, sesame, sulfites, and casein; as well as, no artificial ingredients, no trans fats, and no genetically modified(GMO) ingredients. Sounds good to me! They also have a stricter testing for gluten than the FDA reccomends. They test to make sure they are under 10ppm instead of the recommended 20 ppm.

So as you've noticed I really love their boxes and packaging.
And the fork for an E is just too cute!

Forgive my stupid computer for turning the picture please.

Crunchy sugar crisp

Crunchy Vanilla Honey Graham

Crunchy Chocolate Chip

Crunchy Double Chocolate

I happened to be enjoying some coffee when the box arrived.

Double chocolate is awesome dipped in coffee just so you know!
When they arrived we of course had to open them and try them out right away.  The first box to get opened was the Double Chocolate(I'm a chocoholic I confess).   I was enjoying the last of my pot of coffee and of course had to dunk it.   Yum yum and more yum.  The sad thing was most of the cookies in this package had crumbled in the travel so they were in pieces.  The kids and I made the most of that by putting them in the blender with 4 scoops frozen yoghurt and 2 scoops regular yoghurt.  Blend and wallah, instant soft serve yoghurt with cookie chunks.  That was our afternoon snack.  Yes I know totally unhealthy but oh so good!

Sugar Crisp
Next we had to give the Sugar Crisp a try.  They were crisp and crunchy, but not the hard crunchy that makes you think you're eating a rock.  These were a soft cruncy.  Think a real Pfeffernausse baked by a true German(sorry I know this may not make sense, but they reminded me of my great grandmas cookies and she was as German as they come).

Chocolate Chip
Chocolate chip cookies are a staple around our house.  My kids loved these.  They dipped them in their milk.  This box did not last long at all!  Once again they were crisp and had a crunch, but not so hard as to break your teeth of course.  The flavor was superb and if you didn't see the box telling you these were gluten free you would not have known.

Vanilla Honey Graham
The last cookie variety we tried were the vanilla honey grahams.  These reminded me a bit of a crunchy graham cracker.  I think they would taste wonderful crunched up and used as a graham cracker crust for a cheesecake.  Of course, they are very good by themselves too.  These were eaten plain.  No milk for dipping, just enjoying the flavor on its own.  I even had one little one who just nibbled on hers because she loved the flavor so much!
