K5 Learning

K5 Learning has an online reading and math program for kindergarten to grade 5 students. I've been given a 6 week free trial to test and write a review of their program. If you are a blogger, you may want to check out their open invitation to write an online learning review of their program.

My kids are excited to get to use the computer for some of their school as we've not really let them use it much before.  I'm excited to get to try new ideas in teaching.  Stay tuned for our review to come!

  2. This looks like great software! My oldest is in 1st grade and youngest in preschool so something like this might be beneficial for our family for years :)

  4. It still blows my mind (in a good way)about kids and computers and the vast learning spectrum that they allow!! No computers when I was a kid!

  5. Thanks for sharing the opportunity to review and blog for K5! My son will be starting 6th grade this fall, but he's behind grade level in math. He struggles in this subject and has lost all confidence in himself. Poor guy! I'll be sure to check out the link you've provided. Thanks again!

  7. My husband and i were just talkig today about how our son may be further behind than my duaghters were going into JK.

My daugters are 5 and 8 years older than him and I did everything with them when they were young. This would be a great tool to get our butts back in gear.

  10. Will be looking for the review! We don't let our 5 year old use the computer yet but it's because I have not found something for her to learn while using the computer!
