Jenulence Review

I recently was able to receive and review some great natural mineral makeup from Jenulence.  I have fallen in love with these products and want to tell you all about them!

First, I received Radiance foundation powder/concealer and blue Smokey Eyes set.  I have worn both several times now and can say that I am in love with them.

Let's talk about Jenulence.  On their about me page they show this picture.



I think this is a wonderful sentiment!  How often do we use stuff on our skin that is poisonous if ingested?  I think it is high time we rethought what we're doing to our bodies by putting harmful products on us.

Jenulence was created in 2003 and has a great line of natural chemical free make up and skincare.  All their products are environmentally friendly, biodegradable and they are never tested on animals.  Most importantly, you will not find nano-particles, micronized minerals or FD&C, D&C or Aluminum Lake dyes in their cosmetics.

eye shadows

 These eye shadows are a mineral powder and go on very smoothly.  I loved how soft they felt on my skin and how I did not feel like I had stuff caked on my eyelids.  You will have to be a bit careful putting them on if you don't want some powder making it onto your cheeks!

foundation/concealer powder

 The foundation/concealer that I used was Radiance.  I really liked this and felt it matched my natural shade fairly well.  It went on easily and evenly with a brush.  Jenulence does also sell some great brushes, but I used one I had at home.  I loved how it felt like I really wasn't wearing any makeup at all.  I even tried to rub it off on my clothes and guess what?  It didn't rub off like conventional make up does!  Love!

not the best, but wanted to show the full eye look.  I had not added any mascara yet, but did have the foundation and both eye shadows on.  I did not go very dark because this was a day at home.
