Crafty Anyone? Have a Room Without a Purpose? #sponsoredpost

Are you crafty?  Have a spare room with no designated purpose?  Check out the information below and see if you just might have a craft room in the making!

If you’re lucky enough to have a spare room in your home, there are endless possibilities when it comes to choosing the perfect theme or purpose. If you’re stuck on what to do with a spare room, consider designing a family craft room! Crafting is a great hobby for families to do together, and having a designated room for such activities can really help your newly found or existing hobby blossom. If you’re considering designing a family craft room, consider the following ideas:

· Crafts can get messy! It’s important to design a space that is easy to clean. Scraps of paper, paints and other craft supplies have the tendency to sometimes get on the floor. This can be a disaster with the wrong flooring in place. Consider tile flooring for your craft room as it’s durable, easy to clean and can withstand abuse. You can also use tile flooring to create artistic patterns that will add a unique twist to your craft room. Visit a local Flooring America to find the best deal on tile flooring.

· Storage is extremely important in a craft room. Be sure to design your room with ample storage capacity to house your crafting supplies.

· Make your work station the center of the room and design the rest of the room outward. A craft room is designed for crafting, so your work space should be the focal point.

· Designing a craft room allows you to let out your artist instinct, decorating in fun and exciting ways!

When we remodeled our house before moving in we added laminate flooring.  I am a hardwood floor lover and carpet hater(may have something to do with kids and messes) and this stuff looks like real wood and cost less.
