So first, let me tell you a bit about them. Enjoy Life was founded in 2001 by CEO Scott Mandell. They quickly became a "big deal", from shipping their first products in November of 2002 to entering the Canadian market in early 2005. In December of 2005 they were the first company to EVER get certified Gluten Free by the Gluten-Free Certification Organization(GFCO). By March of 2010 they already had 32 products out on the US market and 23 in the Canadian market. March of this year they introducted Plentils, their first salty snack product.
All Enjoy Life products are free of the top 8 allergens and made in a dedicated gluten and nut free facility. In addition to the top 8 allergens most of their products are also free of potatoes, sesame, sulfites, and casein; as well as, no artificial ingredients, no trans fats, and no genetically modified(GMO) ingredients. Sounds good to me! They also have a stricter testing for gluten than the FDA reccomends. They test to make sure they are under 10ppm instead of the recommended 20 ppm.
Now onto the product review! I was sent a box containing four flavors of Plentils.
The outside of the box. Love how their E is a fork! Made me giggle! |
Inside of the box when we opened it. Loving all the colors! |
Dill and Sour Cream |
Garlic and Parmesan |
Margherita pizza |
Light Sea Salt |
And last a great picture of all the little papers used in the box. My kids had hours of fun playing with these!! |
Don't forget to check out all the other great products from Enjoy Life. I've been cruising around their website and am making a list of things to try! Those soft baked cookies sound so good, chocolate bars always rank high up their on my list too, chocolate chips, granola, and the list goes on! It is normally hard for me to find things that are gluten and dairy free, but everything in their line is!

Do they make a plain version? I tend to dislike flavors on snacks like this except in extreme cases, although my family would most likely love most of these flavors :)
ReplyDeleteThese are a new product and right now these are their only flavors. The light sea salt is very close to being a non flavored one though.
DeleteI thought some of their products contained potatoes and casein?
