Women's Bean Project Coffee Review

I recently got a chance to review for a wonderful company.  Women's Bean Project was created 1989 with the sole purpose of helping women break away from the poverty and unemployment that was surrounding them.  Great company to support in my opinion!  They are a non profit organization who teaches life skills and helps women to get their GED or higher education so they can find a job.

Their online store offers a variety of products from coffee(very yummy) to gourmet foods and even jewelry.  It can keep you busy for hours looking at their site and all the great things they have to offer!

Yummy beans ready to be ground up!

fair trade organic coffee
They are organic and fair trade!  Yeah for perfect!

You can donate to their cause online.  They offer a variety of ways that you can donate as well.  You can send money, or things that they are in need of, as well as volunteer your time if you're local.

I love the inspiration line that they offer in their jewelry collection!  Each piece is handwoven by the women as part of the Women's Bean Project.  They are gorgeous!

The coffee that I tried was the Mellow Bean Decaf which is fair trade certified and organic.  It really was a very nice mellow flavor that wasn't too harsh.  It was a very nice flavor that didn't turn bitter when you went to drink it.  I hate the bitter flavor that comes with so many different coffees when they have gone decaf.

If you drink decaf coffee I recommend the Mellow Bean Decaf.  If you're a full caff coffee drinker I'd say try the Mellow Bean in the regular blend.  But don't just take my word for it.  Make sure to go and try to win the gift code to choose your own flavor by entering to win in my Mama Madness Giveaway!

Make sure to check out all the other great ways to connect with Women's Bean Project!

  2. Another great company doing good things - the big companies should be more proactive about basing their business on "good."
