That's Coffee.com Review

If you've been around my blog long you'll know that I like coffee.  I start every morning with a nice cup(or pot) of the stuff!   But, I only drink organic fair trade coffee.  While breastfeeding and/or pregnant I also only drink decaf coffee.  This makes the selection of coffee available to me pretty slim.  Did I mention I also only buy whole bean coffee as the best taste comes from freshly ground beans?  Yeap I'm just a little picky.

I was very excited to run across That's Coffee.com who has a nice selection of coffee that fit what I needed. I was able to review the Natural Decaf "swiss water" Peru fair trade coffee.  I received 8 ounces or a 1/2 lb package of this variety to sample.  It comes in a nice brown paper like bag with a reverse seal to let air out but not in.  I love those seals!  They let the yummy flavors out for me to smell and drool over without letting the goodness from the coffee come into jeopardy!

My bag of coffee beans.
The smell alone when I opened this coffee told me I was going to love it!  I have found if you don't like the way the coffee beans smell that you won't like how the coffee tastes.  Seriously. You should try it sometime. Ask to smell the beans before they prepare your next coffee at your favorite coffeehouse!  If it's a drink you like you'll like the beans, if not well I feel sorry for you as you don't know what good coffee really is!

Peru Swiss Water Decaf Organic Fair Trade Whole Bean
super yummy and super good
Don't these beans just look good?  Almost good enough to eat.  Though of course I don't eat my coffee beans, less coffee that way!  One bag of this coffee allowed me to make 5 pots of coffee(my coffee pot makes a 10 cup pot and I use one Tb per cup of coffee).

As the first pot of this coffee brewed I couldn't wait to try it.  It is more of a medium roast so perfect for that midday cup.  I like a really strong dark roast for in the mornings to help me wake up and get going.  This coffee was not dark but still enough to wake me up though I did enjoy it more for that midday cup than anything else.  I think this would also be a good one to drink with supper and before bed.  The no caffeine really helps to make it versatile so you can drink it anytime during the day.

I am so in love with this coffee and have to share a wonderful deal with you guys.  That's Coffee.com has created a sample package just for my fans!  You can go and order the Erin's Gourmet Coffee Sampler to try out some of their flavors(this one I tried is included) and you also need to head on over to my Mama Madness Giveaway Hop and enter to win the grand prize.  Included is 1/2 lb of this wonderful coffee that I've been enjoying.

  6. Those beans are gorgeous. I don't really drink coffee anymore but my hubby does. I can picture him grinding out these beans by hand with a mortar and pestle.

  7. I don't like coffee at all but my husband and two of my older kids drink it. They have very high standards so this would be right up their alley.

  9. I don't buy organic coffee, but I do buy whole bean coffee and I perk my coffee as well which I have learned is the worst way to "cook" coffee, but I really like it that way. My grandfather used to drink perked coffee and I think that is where I got my taste for it.
