Avodah Coffee is a family run and owned Indie coffee roasting company. They want to provide upscale luxury coffees in an affordable way for everyone to enjoy. Here is a bit of what they have to say about their mission, "All of our coffees are procured with sustainability in mind. A portion of the proceeds of every roast or blend we sell is given to help lift our neighbors from poverty, provide clean drinking water, save women from human trafficking and more..."
A little trivia that I thought was neat is the name Avodah. Avodah is Hebrew and means action that is simultaneously work, worship, and service. Wow! How wonderful is that? This is what they want their business to be.
I received 5 different flavors to try out. Each packet contained enough for a 12 cup pot of coffee. They were whole bean(my favorite way). My coffee pot is a grind and brew so this was perfect! I have a 10 cup pot but I like it strong and usually use one Tb per cup of water so I just used the whole packet per pot for us.
The five flavors we received were Kenya, Sumatra, Morning Brew, Ethiopian, and Monsooned Malabar.
three of our five packages |
I have to say our favorite of the 5 was the Kenya. It had a robust outdoorsy, roasted over an open fire taste to it. I love the outdoors and love camping around a fire. I could sip on this one year round.

~I must end with my usual disclosure of the fact that I was provided with these products for free in exchange for the review; however, this review is in no way influences and only contains my honest opinions on this matter.
Now with that said I'm off to get the giveaway going!
That is pretty cool about the meaning of the company name - my name means 'dove' in Hebrew. Email: yona(at)pricelesswriters.com
